Band Score 5.5The economy of the world can be ever-changing and can be factorised by the societal, ecological, and systematic beliefs of the world and what often gets ignored is the importance played by the smaller factors in the everyday life, which brings us back to the existence of market outlets in every corner of the world. During the years from 2011 to 2018, there have been numerous amount of departmental store outlets that have come, persevered and removed then replaced with another retail store yet again. In fact, only in the year of 2011, there has been about 8500 approximate openings of a new store in the corner of every street which unfortunately immediately plummeted in 2012 to almost 4000 openings only. In the same year about 6000 stores were closed which is on track with the amount of stores closed in 2011. Despite the low record in 2011, the economy gradually persisted through the next 2 years gaining about 2000 more openings. What is interesting is that in the year 2014 the amount of shops that had their openings and closures were almost comparative as approximately 6200 figures. 2015 was the year that faces yet another crash record in the history of the decade with only 500 closing of stores making it almost the best year of the decade. However not much improvement was seen on the openings as only 4000 stores remained open in the year 2015 and stayed stagnant till 2017 with only a 1000 decrease in the year 2018. Although we had a good figure for the least amount of closings in 2015, the following 3 years after that still hovered and stabilised around 5000 store closings every year. The line graph of the closures and openings of stores in the decade of 2010s highlights the record breaking least amount o closings in the year 2015 and the most amount of openings in the year 2011. Over the decade, the average amount of openings and closures has remained almost similar with 2013 being the highest number of closures corresponding to the degrading status of economy over the years from 2012 to 2014. Looking at the data, it would not be surprising that the coming decade of 2020s would show a soaring increase in the number of closures and a decline in the number of openings which settles the ongoing trend of the economy in the coming days.
